We went on a hay ride at our churches Harvet Party. There are more pictures to see but I'm to tiered to put anymore on our blog. Today is Elizabeth's 4th birthday. It's so hard to believe our baby is 4 years old. She is such a special part of our family. We had a tea party with 5 of her friends (including Morgan). She had a blast. I set the table with a table cloth and my pretty snowman winter dishes.

I didn't realize how much stress I was carrying until after our bankruptcy court date was over. We had it this past Thursday. Afterwards I felt like a ton of bricks were lifted off my back. I didn't realize I was carrying a ton of bricks. It feels so good to loose a ton of weight!

I also realized it when I heard Hans tell someone that he's seen me smile like I haven't for a long time. This past year...or it would probably more accurate to say the past two years has been very challenging for me. I've had seasons of peace and joy in the midst of the stress. But I've had to many seasons of anxiety. I'm learning...slowly but surly that God is in control and I don't have to be stressed or afraid. It will be so nice when I master that one.

I praise and thank my God for keeping His hand on us at all times. He is such a faithful and loving Father.

Our plan is still to move back to Washington as soon as God opens the door. It doesn't look like we'll make it there before Christmas unfortunately. We miss and love you all.

Morgan got a hold of my glasses...these are my replacements. Hans calls them my birthcontrol glasses.

I spent the day painting (that's why my clothes are inside out) and my girls (all three of them) weren't feeling that great. So by the end of the day they were all wanting to be on me. So we spent so time on the couch so I could accomidate all of them.

For an early birthday present I took Elizabeth to a vintage hat tea party. It was held at our local library, put on by the historical society. They had a vintage hat fashion show. It was very interesting. One hat was worth $1000.00. Another hat had a real stuffed bird on it. There were some very weired ones.

Elizabeth had a blast. She loves tea party's. They knew we were coming because you had to pre-register. It was so thoughtful of them to have hot chocolate available just for Elizabeth just incase she didn't like tea. Elizabeth had several little pieces of white chocolate that were on the table in a little dish. She also ate a TON of fruit dip (most of the time with out the fruit).

We did use real china and Elizabeth did great. I had talked to her before we went about the importance of being careful with the real china. She's not used to haveing to do that since her tea set is plastic.

My girls growing up. She'll be 4 years old November 11th. It just seems unreal.

My sweet Haley Jean! While I'm stuck in bed with poison ivy she is trying to hard to see what Mommy is doing up there. She is such a little sweet heart.

By the way her record is 16 steps. I think it's almost safe to say she is a full fledged walker. She will turn 1 year old the end of the month. This year has gone by so fast.

During her two weeks of rash, Morgan has been taking her blanket with her everywhere. I did however, draw the line and her bringing it to the kitchen table when we were eating. She has such a passion and bond with her "blanki". It's so funny. It got so dirty from being toated around everywhere. I'm glad to say that Morgan is feeling almost 100% better. And the blanki now has to stay where it belongs...on her bed! Much to her dismay I might add!

Elizabeth discovered that she had blue pants on and a blue striped shirt. She went around the house after this discovery collecting anything and everything that she could find that was blue. This included the stool Morgan used to go potty, and Haley's binki. She's so cute! She's also so excited to know that Elizabeth started with the letter E. Anytime she sees and E she says "Mom that E for Elizabeth" In the most excited voice ever. She carried her stash around for several hours!

These next few pictures are gross. Please be adviced if you have a week stomach you may not want to continue. You may have to enlarge this picture to see the blisters around this wound. I pretty much left them alone for a few days after the wire brush insident. But a couple of days ago I finally ran the back of my fingernail around the soars on both legs and poped all the blisters. Man did the ooz flow freely after that. I have to carry a cloth diaper around with me to constantly wipe the ooz away. Popping thos blisters really helped with the itching. Unfortanatly I have other spots all over that (don't look anything like this) itch like crazy. In fact it's 1 in the morning and I had to get up out of bed because I was itching to bad.

So for you morbid folks I've posted so progressive pictures! Enjoy. And try not to pass out. I'm still strugling with that...even now as I type. This is so GROSS!

Well the lovely pictures below are from poison ivy. They weren't bug bites after all. Unfortunately the rash has spread and gotten worse. It was so painful yesterday (my leg) that I stayed in bed all day, which I don't like to do by the way.

I just want to say I have a wonderfully loving husband that took over the house and kids so I could rest. He even made us our meals the entire day. I don't know if I was just really hungry or what but he made a Mexican egg dish for dinner and it was delicious!

My leg looks so grotesque that I have felt many times like I was going to pass out. I will be so glad when I'm able to walk around freely with out ooz running down my leg.

Well it's good to know what the real cause was. It's kind of ironic because last Saturday Hans went trapsing through the woods to collect leaves from a black walnut tree. We were going to make a tea to help sooth Morgans rash that she had from an alergic reaction from a medication. Little did we know that he would bring back poison ivy oil with him and would share it with all of us. In attempt to relieve one rash we ended up with another. Who would have known.

I guess the worst part is only supposed to last a week. I'm counting down the days!

With ooozzzz

This looked like three bites a few days ago. Located on my leg just above my knee. It has grown and grown into this monsterous thing. I have been so miserible that I haven't been thinking clearly. My legs have itched so bad that I wanted to cut them off.

So my doctor (Hans) recomended doing what he did to a very similar looking spot in his leg the week before. (side note: we thought his spot was a reaction from the shingles because he's roofing our house right now, but now it's not looking like the case.) So anyway, he told me to scrub it with a wire brush (pictured below) in order to pop all the puss bubbles. It took me awhile but I finally gave into his advice.

I didnt' realize how much of my father I had in me when it came to passing out. I managed to scrub with the wire brush a few times but them I had to stop because I thought I might pass out. Even now as I think about it the feeling starts coming back (only on a much smaller scale). So I call for Hans becasue at this point I'm laying on the floor and I can't deside what is worse the passing out sensation or the urge to throw up! Wow what a way to start the day. So Hans had to assist in finishing the wire brush scrub.

I'm glad that is over. Now I have to keep a rag close by because the ooz is constantly dripping. Our life is full of excitement!

I thought at first that these were bug bites. It was so bizzar because they would appear in the mornig . I went to bed with clear skin and woke up with these. Hans thought maybe we had bed bug. Yuck! But after some research we resolved that it couldn't have been bed bugs. So something was getting me and we didn't know what. We spent the day yesturday away because we bombed the house. We are going to kill what ever it was...hopefully. Unfortunatly the more we think about it we don't think it is bites at all. We think it must be envirornmental. There is something we are coming in contact with that our (the whole family except Haley) body is responding to. All of us have developed skin problems in the last week.

This is what Hans came down to find one morning. Morgan had woken up first and we heard her go downstair. When we heard a chair scoot across the floor Hans went to see what she was up to. Our very capable two year old found a peach that was ripening in a brown paper bag. Then she found the largest knife we have in the drawer. As you can see she was successful at making several cuts. We spent the rest of the day thanking our Lord for protecting her precious fingers. She did not have one cut on her.

Dress up is one of my girls' all time favorite things to do. We went garage saling earlier in the summer and found some great treasures. Morgan almost always chooses the slip that she has on. Is this freaky or what? I'm not one to take my kids to the doctor but when I saw this I took her. He said it was similar to swimmers itch. Both Elizabeth and Morgan got it from playing in our little kiddy pool that had water that had been in there for a few days. Poor Morgan looks even worse today. She woke up with a (red) rash all over her body and face. She's starting to itch too.

We have recently had so completly unlivable wheather. With humidity around 70% it felt like 100-108 degrees. Due to the fact that our house has no AC we didn't fair well. We are so grateful that the heat wave/humidity wave is over. At least for now.

We have harvested three cucumbers off of our bush cucumber plant and broccolli! This was the first time Elizabeth really got excited about eating broccolli. I love gardening! I'm addicted now. I will want to have a garden every year. Hans and I are already talking about how to design our dream garden. My tomatoes are starting to turn red. Veggies are so much better fresh.

The girls and I are addicted to juicing now. Our usual drink consists of lemon, carrot, celery, roman lettuce, and some times an apple. The girls weren't really that excited about drinking it until they got to be the ones to make it. Now they gobble it up and ask for more. I just can't get over how cute it is to watch my two year old juice all by herself (after I prep them of course).

We've seen a lot of different animals here in Michigan but this is one of the oddest. Not that turtles are odd. It was just very odd to see one in our yard. Hans even got to see a squirl try and bully him.

We are really pretty much in a similar position. Still trying to sell these two houses. We thought (and may still have) a buyer for the Grosse Pointe house but he's taking to long so we've started marketing it again. Hans is still trying to get the other house listed. The realtor company he's been working with isn't exactly very helpful in training. And Hans' strength is not paper work.

Spiritually however, I think we are in a much better place. I know I am. I'm having to learn things (simple things) all over again at this stage of life. Simple things like "Trust and Obey". But God has been so patient with me. I think this new eating habit has come at a perfect time because I can't turn to food for comfort like I did before. The only thing I have is God! And it's a great place to be. Plus I'm 25 pounds lighter than I was a few months ago. That's always nice. Twenty more pounds and I'll be back to were I was when I got married. I don't know if I'll get that low but it doesn't matter. I keep getting on the scale, mostly in disbelief, and it keep going down. It's weird but I'm excited to detoxify. The girls and I make our own juice concoctions. Mostly from veggies, but always with a lemon. That really helps to hid the veggie taste. I will post a video of them helping me. Even Morgan can do it after I cut the veggies up to fit in the juicer. She's so cute.

We're able to attend more of the church we are going to then usual becasue all of our girls are comfortable staying in the nursery. They love it and we do to. It's an A/G church we found via the A/G web site. We went to church BBQ at someone's house. They live on a lake. The girls had an absolute blast. They had their two most favorite things to play with, dirt (sand) and water. Elizabeth was in the water almost the entire time. Haley loved the water too but I got tired to trying to keep her from eating the sand so she didn't get as much water time. Hans and I got to go toob'n. That was fun. I had never done that before.

I made some bread and Elizabeth and Morgan wanted to help. They love to play with the dough. So I gave them each a chunk to make there our rolls with. This was there creation. They enjoyed eating their rolls when they came out the the oven.
